Pas de la Casa is the highest and rowdiest sector of the Grandvalira circuit, on the French border of Andorra at 2,050 m. It is one of the most snow-reliable spots in the Pyrenees because of altitude and the north-facing bowl behind the village, and the lift systems climb to 2,640 m before dropping over the ridge into the wider Grandvalira. What defines it is the après scene: dozens of Irish and English bars, cheap duty-free liquor, and a young British and Spanish clientele that keep the strip loud until 4am. Skiing during the day is high-quality; sleeping at night is a different matter.
