What to expect at La Molina Masella

La Molina and Masella are two connected resorts on either side of Tosa d'Alp in the Catalan Pyrenees, sold under the joint 'Alp2500' pass, 141 km of piste at heights up to 2,537 m. La Molina is Spain's oldest ski resort, founded in 1908, and hosts World Cup snowboard and freestyle rounds. It is well set up for beginners with dedicated learning slopes at the base station, and the fast train from Barcelona (BCN, Puigcerdà, La Molina in under three hours) makes it one of Europe's most accessible city-and-ski options. Snow reliability is helped by strong Catalan investment in snowmaking coverage.
