What to expect at Kaltenbach
Kaltenbach itself offers groomed runs for all levels as well as fun parks, off-piste terrain for free-riders and with the right ski pass, you can access the more expansive ski area of Hochzillertal-Hochfügen in Zillertal Valley with 379 km/235 mi of prime ski runs. The cosy Tyrolean village is known for its quieter, more relaxed atmosphere which makes it a popular choice with families, scattered with a handful of lovely restaurants, bars and cafes to satisfy the after-ski hunger. You can even enjoy a wine in the highest underground wine cave in the Alps! The short drive from Innsbruck airport is just the cherry on top for this family-friendly snow-sure alpine hotspot.
